Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) TrainingCloud Computing and DevOps Certification Training
The CKA is a two-hour practical exam at the command line. This course is built around labs, troubleshooting drills and timed tasks, not slides.
This Course Includes:
Hands-on lab environment
Troubleshooting drills
Timed command-line tasks
Full exam simulation
Accredited Trainers
Accredited Curriculum
Confirmed Batches
Passing Assurance
Course Highlights
- Weighted by the exam: troubleshooting at 30% gets the most practice time
- Every concept is paired with a lab; nothing is taught that you do not run
- Teaches how to use the allowed documentation quickly, which is a skill in itself
- Honest about the Linux Foundation's package terms so you do not assume unlimited retakes
Career Outcomes
- Preparation for Kubernetes administrator, DevOps and platform engineer roles
- Evidence of hands-on operating skill, not only conceptual knowledge
- A foundation for security, GitOps and platform engineering specialisations
- Credible footing for site reliability and cloud infrastructure roles
What you will learn
About this course
The CKA is not a multiple-choice exam. It puts you in a terminal, gives you a set of tasks and a clock, and asks you to make a Kubernetes cluster do what it should. That changes how you have to prepare: reading is not enough.
This course follows the Linux Foundation's published domains and spends proportionally more time on the heavy ones: troubleshooting (30%), cluster architecture and configuration (25%) and services and networking (20%).
The Linux Foundation owns the exam, the pricing and the credential. CertScope trains you to perform; we state plainly which terms belong to the Linux Foundation so you can plan realistically.
Exam at a glance
- Format: Online, proctored, performance-based; solve tasks in a live command-line Kubernetes environment
- Duration: 2 hours
- Exam-only price (reference): US$445 direct from the Linux Foundation
- Bundles (reference): US$625 with THRIVE-ONE; US$645 with Kubernetes Fundamentals (LFS258)
- Direct package terms: 12 months to schedule and take the exam; two attempts in total (first attempt plus one retake); two simulator attempts. Reseller bundles may differ.
- Kubernetes version: The exam environment follows a current Kubernetes release and is updated periodically — confirm the version on the day you publish and on your exam day
Linux Foundation / CNCF facts. Exam fees are the Linux Foundation's, not CertScope's. Always confirm current details with Linux Foundation / CNCF before you book.
Learning Path
- 1
Set up your practice habit
Get comfortable in a terminal with kubectl, an editor and the allowed documentation.
- 2
Build and operate clusters
Install with kubeadm, manage the lifecycle and configure access.
- 3
Run workloads, services and storage
Deploy, expose and persist applications.
- 4
Break and fix
Diagnose failures across nodes, components, networking and workloads.
- 5
Simulate and sit the exam
Use timed simulations, then book directly through the Linux Foundation.
The CertScope Advantage
Lab-first
Time in a terminal is the main teaching method.
Exam-weighted
Practice hours track the published domain weights.
Realistic expectations
Package terms, attempts and version changes are explained up front.
