- Business analysis fluency — requirements, stakeholders, traceability — useful in product and change roles
What you will learn
About this course
CAPM® is PMI's entry-level project management certification. It tests whether you understand how projects are organised and delivered, not whether you have led one — which is why it suits people who are early in their project career or moving into it.
The exam content outline is broader than many candidates expect. It does not stop at classic plan-driven project management: it gives substantial weight to agile frameworks and to business analysis, reflecting how project work actually runs today. This course is built to that outline, domain by domain.
CertScope delivers the training. PMI controls eligibility, the exam, its fee and the credential. We explain that line at the start so you can plan your education hours, application and exam booking with accurate expectations.

Learning Path
- 1
Confirm eligibility with PMI
Check the current CAPM requirements: a secondary degree or equivalent and 23 hours of project management education.
- 2
Complete structured training
Work through the four exam domains with an instructor, using scenarios rather than memorisation.
- 3
Practise under exam conditions
Use scenario-based questions and timed sets against the 150-question, 180-minute format.
- 4
Apply and book with PMI
Submit your PMI application, pay the exam fee through PMI, then schedule your sitting.
- 5
Plan the PMP® step
Decide when to move to PMP, based on your experience and role, not a timetable.
The CertScope Advantage
Mapped to the real outline
Modules follow PMI's four domains and their published weightings, so study time goes where the exam does.
Honest about scope
We state plainly what training includes and what PMI, not CertScope, controls.
Predictive and agile together
You learn both ways of working and when each applies, which is how modern teams operate.
Pathway thinking
Guidance on CAPM versus going straight to PMP®, based on your experience.
