Sprint Review
Quick Definition
A Scrum event held at the end of the Sprint to inspect the Increment and adapt the Product Backlog based on stakeholder feedback.
Detailed Explanation
Sprint Review is a collaborative working session, not a formal presentation. The team demonstrates the completed Increment to stakeholders, gathers feedback, and discusses what to do next. The Product Backlog may be adjusted based on insights.
Time-box: 4 hours for a one-month Sprint. Attendees include the Scrum Team plus key stakeholders invited by the Product Owner.
The Sprint Review is distinct from the Sprint Retrospective — Review inspects the product (what was built), while Retrospective inspects the process (how it was built).
